Silchar: In a commendable act of community involvement, the Shri Shyamsundar Jiu Temple Management and Development Committee has extended financial support of Rs.1,00,101/- towards the reinstallation of the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in Silchar.

The cheque was formally handed over by the committee’s president, Sushil Kumar Banik, along with other distinguished members, to the Silchar Netaji Statue Reconstruction and Installation Committee.

Acknowledging the generous contribution, Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty expressed sincere appreciation to Banik and the entire temple committee for their valuable support in preserving the memory and legacy of one of India’s greatest freedom fighters.
