Silchar: In a spirited display of patriotism ahead of Independence Day, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Cachar, organised a vibrant bike rally in Silchar on Thursday under the nationwide #HarGharTiranga campaign.

Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, Rajya Sabha MP Kanad Purkayastha, Cachar BJP district committee Rupam Saha and several BJP leaders and workers actively participated in the rally, which drew enthusiastic support from party members and locals alike.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Dipayan Chakraborty urged citizens to join in the celebrations with unity and pride. “Let’s unite in celebrating the 79th Independence Day with pride, patriotism, and togetherness,” he said.

The rally, adorned with the tricolour, traversed through key roads of Silchar, spreading the message of national pride and encouraging people to hoist the national flag in their homes as part of the campaign.
