Silchar: Late on Tuesday night, Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty visited Deshabandhu Road and Shamshan Road to review the persistent waterlogging problems faced by residents.

Joined by party karyakartas, the MLA interacted with locals and inspected the affected areas. He assured that steps would be taken to address the issue and strengthen the drainage system to avoid such situations in the future.

Residents, meanwhile, voiced their frustration over recurring waterlogging in the locality and appealed for urgent action from the authorities.
