Silchar: A preparation meeting was held on Sunday at the premises of the Asom Sahitya Sabha, Silchar branch, ahead of the third full executive session of the Asom Sahitya Sabha for the 2025–27 working year.

The meeting saw the presence of several distinguished personalities and office bearers from various branches of the Sabha. Discussions focused on planning and coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming session.

Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, who attended the meeting, expressed confidence that with collective effort and dedication, the next session would be a grand success. He urged everyone to work together to uphold the rich literary and cultural legacy of the Sabha.
