Guwahati: A significant development has emerged in the ongoing investigation into the death of singer Zubeen Garg. On October 21, officials from the Singapore Police Authority are scheduled to meet with the Assam Police team led by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Munna Gupta, who also heads the Special Investigative Team (SIT) handling the case.

Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma shared the update on his official Facebook page, emphasizing the state’s commitment to pursuing justice for Zubeen. “Our collective resolve remains — justice for Zubeen will prevail,” he wrote.

This meeting marks another step in the cross-border investigation, reflecting continued cooperation between Indian and Singapore authorities to ensure a thorough probe.
