Kathmandu: Buddha Air has announced the launch of regular flights between Kathmandu and Kolkata, starting November 15. The airline will operate four flights a week—on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—strengthening air connectivity between Nepal and eastern India.
With this new route, Buddha Air aims to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two cities. The service is expected to benefit travelers seeking direct and convenient air links between Nepal and West Bengal.
The airline currently operates international flights to cities including Varanasi, and the addition of Kolkata marks another step in its regional expansion plan.
