3,500 Pristha Pramukhs Mobilised Ahead of CM’s Roadshow

Silchar: A massive gathering of around 3,500 pristha pramukhs was held in the Silchar Assembly constituency on Wednesday, organised jointly by the Silchar Block Mandal, New Silchar Mandal, and Madhya Shahar Mandal of the BJP.
Party leaders highlighted the crucial role of pristha pramukhs in the electoral process and called upon them to intensify door-to-door campaigning to ensure the victory of the party’s candidate. The meeting witnessed participation from key leaders, including MP Parimal Suklabaidya, candidate Dr. Rajdeep Roy, Dipayan Chakraborty, and BJP leader Bijendra Prasad Singh, all of whom addressed the gathering.

The leaders also expressed gratitude to Mandal Presidents Hirak Chowdhury, Dulal Das, and Piklu Das, along with Shakti Kendra pramukhs, booth presidents, and other party functionaries for successfully organising the event.
Meanwhile, in preparation for the upcoming roadshow of Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in Silchar-Udharbond on April 3, a key preparatory meeting was held at Ashirbad Bibaha Bhavan near the Silchar District Sports Association ground.
The meeting was attended by booth presidents from various wards of the Silchar Municipal Corporation, Gaon Panchayat leaders, former municipal commissioners, and party workers.
Discussions focused on ensuring that the Chief Minister’s roadshow is conducted in a disciplined, smooth, and well-organised manner. Party leaders and workers collectively pledged to work in coordination to make the event a grand success.
