Silchar: The election campaign for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections gathered momentum in the Barak Valley, with senior BJP leaders addressing a series of public meetings across Udharbond and Lakhipur constituencies on Saturday.
Minister Kaushik Rai and Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia took part in multiple rallies, expressing confidence in the party’s prospects and calling for continued support to ensure development and stability in the state.

In Udharbond constituency, BJP candidate Rajdeep Goala received strong backing during public meetings held at Rangpur, Khaspur GP’s Bazarghat, and Patichhara GP. Addressing the gatherings, Saikia highlighted the enthusiasm among voters and said the overwhelming response indicated a decisive victory for the BJP in the constituency.
He emphasized that the party remains committed to development, progress, and public welfare, and urged people to re-elect the BJP government under the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
