Silchar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday welcomed the BJP-NDA’s victory in the Assam Vidhan Sabha elections, describing it as a strong endorsement of the alliance’s focus on development and governance.

In a statement following the results, Modi said the outcome reflects the “unwavering support” of the people for the NDA’s efforts to bring a positive change in their lives. He expressed gratitude to the citizens of Assam for what he termed a “resounding mandate.”
“I thank my sisters and brothers of Assam for the resounding mandate,” the Prime Minister said, adding that the government remains committed to accelerating the state’s growth and transformation.
Reassuring the public, Modi said the NDA would continue working with renewed dedication to meet the aspirations of the people and further strengthen development initiatives across the state.
The BJP-led alliance’s victory is being seen as a reaffirmation of its political strength in Assam, with the results underscoring continued voter confidence in its leadership and policies.
