Silchar: The Cachar district administration on Wednesday held a review meeting to assess preparations for the NEET-2026 examination scheduled to be held on June 21 across the district.

The meeting was chaired by District Commissioner Ayush Garg and attended by Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Saikia, Additional District Commissioner Manojyoti Kutum, along with other concerned officials.

During the meeting, officials reviewed the preparedness and infrastructure available at all examination centres. Discussions focused on ensuring that the examination is conducted smoothly, efficiently, and without any disruptions.

District Commissioner Ayush Garg stressed the need for meticulous planning and coordination among all departments to facilitate a hassle-free experience for candidates appearing in the examination.

Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Saikia directed officials to put in place stringent security measures at all examination venues and ensure adequate deployment of personnel to maintain law and order during the examination period.

The district administration expressed confidence that all necessary arrangements would be completed in time and that the NEET-2026 examination in Cachar would be conducted successfully and peacefully.
