New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured continued support from the Central Government to flood-affected Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland following a meeting with Members of Parliament from the two northeastern states in Parliament.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed the flood situation and discussed the challenges faced by the affected regions. The Centre reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the governments of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland to ensure timely relief, restoration and rehabilitation measures.
The Central Government said all possible assistance would be extended to support ongoing rescue and relief operations and help people affected by the floods.
The assurance comes as several parts of Northeast India continue to face the impact of heavy rainfall and flooding, with authorities working to restore normalcy and provide aid to affected communities.
