SHILLONG: The Meghalaya government has announced that meritorious students who passed the 2026 Class 10 and Class 12 examinations will be awarded laptops in recognition of their academic excellence.

The scheme will cover students who appeared in examinations conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), and the Indian School Certificate (ISC).

The initiative is aimed at encouraging academic achievement and supporting students in their higher education by providing them with digital learning tools.
