Hyderabad: More than 450 students of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, have opposed the decision to invite Chief Justice of India Surya Kant as the chief guest for the university’s 2026 convocation.

The Batch of 2026 students submitted a representation to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and faculty members, urging the university authorities to review the decision.

The students expressed their concerns over the proposed invitation and requested the administration to reconsider the choice of chief guest for the convocation. The representation was signed by more than 450 students of the graduating batch.
