Imphal | The Manipur government reviewed preparations and coordination for the upcoming Assam Rifles Convention at Manipur University during a meeting with senior Assam Rifles officials.

The meeting was held with Inspector General, Assam Rifles (South), Maj Gen Gaurav Sharma, SC, SM, and Commander, 9th Sector Assam Rifles, Brig Pratyush Kumar. The discussions focused on preparations for the convention and ensuring effective coordination among the stakeholders involved in the event.

The Manipur government also acknowledged the continued support and cooperation extended by the Assam Rifles towards the state. The upcoming convention at Manipur University is expected to bring together Assam Rifles personnel and other stakeholders for discussions and engagement related to the force’s role and activities in the region.
