Silchar: Prof. (Dr.) Bhaskar Gupta, Professor of Dermatology at Silchar Medical College & Hospital, has been relieved of the charge of Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent (in-charge) of the institution with immediate effect.

According to an order issued in the interest of public service, Prof. (Dr.) Abhijit Swami, Professor of Medicine at Silchar Medical College & Hospital, has been given the additional charge of Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent (in-charge).

Prof. Swami will hold the charge with immediate effect and until further orders, the order stated.
