Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh is set to get improved air connectivity, with IndiGo proposing to expand flight operations between Itanagar and Guwahati from October 10.
The development was announced by the Arunachal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ACCI) in a press release. According to ACCI, the proposed flights are expected to strengthen onward air connectivity from Itanagar through Guwahati to several major cities across the country.
These destinations include Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. The proposed expansion is expected to benefit passengers from Arunachal Pradesh by providing better connections to major business, education and commercial centres.
However, ACCI clarified that the proposed services will be subject to IndiGo’s final operational schedule.
