Imphal | Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Tuesday chaired a meeting with the Core Committee on Petroleum Products at the Secretariat in Mantripukhri to review issues related to the transportation and supply of fuel in the state.
The meeting focused on concerns raised by petroleum product transporters and challenges affecting the movement of fuel across Manipur. Discussions centred on measures to address the issues and ensure an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.
Khemchand reviewed the concerns raised during the meeting and stressed the need for better coordination among government authorities and other stakeholders to resolve transportation-related challenges.
The meeting was attended by ADGP I.K. Muivah, Special Secretary (Home) Ahanthem Subash, Director of CAF & PD Yumnam Nelson, and Core Committee on Petroleum Products president Ahongshangbam Tamphayai, besides other officials.
The review comes amid the importance of maintaining smooth fuel transportation and supply across the state, particularly in areas dependent on road-based movement of petroleum products.
