IMPHAL / NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Manipur later this month, following high-level discussions held in the national capital. The development comes after Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh called on the Union Home Minister at his official residence in New Delhi.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed Amit Shah on the prevailing law-and-order situation, peace-building measures, and ongoing developmental projects across the state. Preparations and key agendas for the Home Minister’s anticipated visit to the state were also reviewed, with the central leadership reaffirming its commitment to long-term peace, stability, and development in Manipur.
