The sinister agenda to carve out Kukiland by fracturing Manipur runs deeper than anyone can imagine. Former CM Shri  @NBirenSingh has written to the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur to look into a well-calculated and subtle alteration detected between the original Gazette of India and the version published by the Manipur Legislative Assembly.

While the original notification limits the HAC’s function to merely appointing the hereditary chieftainship, the manipulation by changing “of” to “or” in the Second Schedule (para 9) gave the HAC unchecked power to appoint village chiefs beyond hereditary lines. This is not a clerical error but a deliberate move to spawn new villages, fuel illegal immigration, and alter Manipur’s demography.

It is evident that the agenda to erode the identity of the indigenous communities and grab our lands has roots far back, orchestrated through tampering with legislative documents. Who is responsible for this manipulation? This betrayal threatens not just Manipur but the entire Northeast’s culture and identity.
