Silchar: The holy occasion of Sri Guru Purnima will be observed today at the Silchar Sankar Math-O-Mission, located on Mahaprabhu Sarani, Sonai Road, with rituals rooted in devotion and Sanatan Dharma traditions.
As per the schedule issued by the Mission authorities, the day’s events will begin at 4:30 AM with Mangalarati, followed by Guru Puja at 8:30 AM. Bhog Arati will be performed at noon, and devotees will be served Mahaprasad at 1 PM. The celebration will conclude in the evening with Sandhyarati and a special discourse on Guru Tattva at 8:30 PM.
Speaking ahead of the observance, Shrimad Bigyanananda Brahmachari Maharaj, the chief functionary of the Mission, extended a warm invitation to devotees across Barak Valley to participate in the day-long spiritual events and experience divine blessings.
