Silchar: The Zila Sainik Board, Cachar, has issued an earnest appeal to all unregistered Ex-Servicemen and widows of Ex-Servicemen from the Army, Navy, and Air Force residing in the district to complete their registration without further delay.

In a statement, the Board has requested eligible individuals to visit the Sainik Bhawan in Silchar on any working day and bring along necessary documents, including the Discharge Book, Pension Payment Order (PPO), Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Bank Pass Book, two passport-size and two stamp-size photographs, as well as their personal mobile phone. These documents are essential for registration and updating of records.

The initiative is aimed at ensuring that all entitled personnel and their families are properly enrolled to receive the welfare benefits and support services extended to them. Emphasizing the need for timely registration, the Board expressed confidence that the veteran community will respond positively to this important call.
