Silchar: In a major anti drug operation, police under Dholai Police Station seized 1,10,000 Yaba tablets after intercepting a truck during a routine check.

The vehicle was stopped based on specific inputs, leading to the recovery of the contraband during a search.

Two persons were apprehended in connection with the seizure. Police have started further investigation to trace the source and intended destination of the consignment.
