Silchar: Security agencies in Assam carried out swift action in Cachar district, leading to the pushback of eight illegal infiltrators, officials said on Monday.

Authorities stated that no illegal infiltrator would be spared and strict measures are being taken to safeguard the state’s borders and internal security.

The action was taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, with the government reaffirming its firm stand on national security and law enforcement.
