Hailakandi: Hailakandi will host an art competition on January 18 aimed at promoting the North East Integration Rally 2026, with a focus on environmental awareness and youth participation.

The competition is being organised by RC Foundation in collaboration with AF Ankanshree Fine Arts Institutions, with support from the Rotary Club of Hailakandi and the North East Integration Rally. The event will be held at Gurusthanam Play School on Mission Road, Hailakandi.

Open to school students, the competition has been divided into two categories. Group A will include students from Class V to VII, while Group B will comprise students from Class VIII to X. The theme for the competition is Global Warming, encouraging participants to express their understanding of climate change through art.

Registration will begin at 2.30 pm, followed by the competition at 3 pm. Organisers said the event is intended to use creative expression as a way to spread the message of peace, progress, and prosperity, the core values of the North East Integration Rally 2026.
