Silchar : Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty attended a felicitation programme organised by the Barak Valley Chamber of Commerce in Silchar on Monday evening.

The programme honoured newly elected Rajya Sabha MP Kanad Purkayastha and newly elected Chairman of Cachar Zila Parishad, Kankan Narayan Sikdar.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Chakraborty said both leaders carry the trust and aspirations of the people of Barak Valley and extended his best wishes for their future responsibilities in public service.

He also thanked the Chamber of Commerce for hosting the event and appreciated its continued efforts for the growth and development of the region.
