NEW DELHI : Shri Sharda Sarvagya Peeth, Jammu & Kashmir, is pleased to announce the appointment of Biswadeep Gupta, son of Late Biswajit Gupta and resident of Old Kalibari Road, Malugram, Silchar, Cachar District, Assam, as the In-Charge for the North Eastern States.

The formal appointment was presented to Biswadeep Gupta by Lt Col (Dr.) Ashwani Kumar, MiD, VSM (Retd), CEO of Shri Sharda Sarvagya Peeth, J & K in the revered presence of His Holiness during the Sanatan Sammelan held in Manipur.

A dedicated social and political activist, Gupta has carried out extensive work across North East India, particularly in the spheres of cultural integration and grassroots engagement. His appointment is a recognition of his tireless efforts and deep commitment to the Sanatan Dharma and the welfare of the region.

In his new role, Gupta will be responsible for overseeing all activities of the Peeth throughout Assam and the entire North Eastern region. His duties will include the coordination of religious and cultural events, expansion of spiritual outreach, and appointment of district-level Heads/In-Charges.

This appointment is effective for a period of two years or until further orders. The leadership and experience Gupta brings will significantly contribute to the spiritual and cultural mission of Shri Sharda Sarvagya Peeth in the North East.
