Silchar: The executive meeting of the BJP Madhya (Central) Town Mandal was held in Silchar on Monday, with a strong focus on organizational preparedness for the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections. The meeting was presided over by Mandal President Hirak Choudhury.

Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty attended the session and shared his views on local development and party strategies. Lok Sabha MP from Silchar, Parimal Suklabaidya, also addressed the gathering and offered valuable insights into strengthening grassroots-level engagement and coordination.

The meeting saw the presence of several senior party leaders, including District General Secretary Gopal Roy and Silchar Assembly constituency in-charge Prasenjit Bhattacharjee, both of whom spoke on key organizational matters. Mandal co-in-charges Amalendu Das and Shantanu Roy were also present on the dais.

A large number of booth-level women leaders, Shakti Kendra in-charges, Mandal and district committee members, as well as office-bearers from different Morchas participated in the session. Discussions primarily revolved around streamlining booth-level operations, enhancing outreach, and chalking out a roadmap for the upcoming municipal elections.

The meeting reaffirmed the party’s commitment to strengthening its presence at the grassroots and working in unison towards electoral success in the city.
