BJP Holds Organizational Meeting in Ward No. 9 Ahead of Municipal Elections

Silchar: An organizational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Cachar District Committee, was held on Friday evening at the premises of Madhya Malugram Durga Mandap on Cachar High School Road under the management of the Malugram–Rongpur Mandal. The meeting was presided over by Mandal President Pulak Dev.

Cachar District Committee President Rupam Saha attended the meeting as the chief guest. Addressing party workers, he stressed the importance of preparing for the upcoming municipal elections and called upon them to work collectively to ensure the victory of all BJP candidates so that the party can form the board in the Silchar Municipal Corporation.

Prominent district and mandal leaders present at the meeting included District Vice President Prosenjit Bhattacharjee, General Secretaries Amitabha Roy and Gopal Roy, Secretary Soumitra Kumar Deb, Prabhari Chandan Dey, Ward No. 9 Observer Bablu Keot, Mandal General Secretary Kanai Debnath, Secretary Apurba Goala, along with Shakti Kendra Prabharis, booth committee presidents and members, executive members of the district committee, and office bearers of various morchas. Senior and active workers of Ward No. 9 also took part.

Local party leader Bijendra Prasad Singh expressed gratitude to all leaders and workers for their presence at the meeting and reiterated commitment to strengthening the party’s base in the ward.
