Silchar: BJP leader and social worker Bijendra Prasad Singh visited the residence of Tamojit Bhattacharjee (Tilak), a veteran journalist and a respected figure in Silchar’s media fraternity, to personally congratulate his son Shrutitirtha Bhattacharjee for his outstanding academic achievement.
Shrutitirtha, a promising scholar from the region, has secured the second rank at the all-India level in the Joint CSIR-UGC NET (June 2025) examination, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for determining eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Describing the achievement as a moment of pride for Silchar and the Barak Valley, Singh expressed his joy and admiration, stating that Shrutitirtha’s success reflects both hard work and the region’s growing academic excellence. “We are all proud of him and wish him continued success in every step of his journey,” he said.
Singh also extended his warm regards to Tamojit Bhattacharjee, acknowledging his longstanding contribution to journalism and public life. He prayed for Shrutitirtha’s bright future and urged young students to draw inspiration from his dedication and discipline.
