Silchar: Debjyoti Deb, popularly known as Manna and a resident of Rahmanpatty, Silchar, has been admitted to GNRC Hospital in Guwahati after suddenly falling seriously ill.

According to his family, Manna da suffered a brain stroke late last night and was immediately rushed to Guwahati for urgent treatment. His brother informed that while his condition remains critical, doctors are providing intensive medical care.

Manna da is known as a senior and active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Silchar. Supporters and well-wishers across the city have expressed concern and are praying for his speedy recovery.

The community hopes he will soon recover fully and return home to Silchar in good health.
