Silchar: The District Level Internal Examination Committee (DLIEC), in coordination with the Inspector of Schools, Cachar District Circle, has announced the postponement of the Class IX and X Half-Yearly Examinations originally scheduled for Monday, 22nd September 2025.
The decision has been made due to unavoidable circumstances, with the aim of ensuring a smooth and fair examination process. All Heads of Institutions under the jurisdiction of the Inspector of Schools, CDC Silchar, have been formally informed of the change.
While the exams were initially set to follow the notified schedule, district education authorities reviewed the situation and decided that a deferment was necessary. A revised timetable will be issued shortly, allowing schools, students, and parents sufficient time to adjust.
The Inspector of Schools, Cachar, has requested cooperation and understanding from all stakeholders, assuring that the new schedule will be communicated promptly. Students are encouraged to continue their preparation and maintain their study routines, as the examinations will take place soon after rescheduling.
The DLIEC also reaffirmed its commitment to conducting the examinations in a transparent and disciplined manner, prioritizing the best interests of the students.
