Imphal: Vice-Chancellor of Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, Dr Anupam Mishra has been appointed as the Secretary General of the Indian Agricultural Universities Association (IAUA), New Delhi. The appointment is seen as a recognition of his long standing leadership and contribution to the field of agricultural education, research, and institutional development.

The Indian Agricultural Universities Association plays a key role in bringing together agricultural universities across the country. It works to promote academic cooperation, policy dialogue, and sharing of best practices in teaching, research, and extension services. Dr Mishra’s appointment to this important national position is expected to further strengthen coordination among agricultural universities and related institutions.

Congratulating Dr Mishra on the occasion, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, stated that the appointment reflects his vision, administrative ability, and deep understanding of the challenges faced by the agricultural education sector.
