Silchar: The Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA) cheque distribution ceremony will be held at the Labooc Playground in Silchar on Saturday, October 25, beginning at 11:45 AM.

During the event, eligible women beneficiaries will receive seed money cheques of ₹10,000 each under the flagship scheme aimed at promoting women’s entrepreneurship and economic self-reliance across Assam.

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will attend the occasion as the chief guest. He will be joined by Kaushik Rai, Minister of the Barak Valley Development Department, along with MLAs, senior officials, and dignitaries.

Among those expected to attend are Cachar District Commissioner Mridul Yadav, CEO Zilla Parishad Pranab Kumar Bora, Co-District Commissioner of Lakhipur Dhrubajyoti Pathak, and other administrative heads.
