Guwahati: The Edu Nation Summit 2025 will be held on 22 November at the Conference Hall of IIT Guwahati, bringing together a wide mix of principals, educators, policymakers, corporate leaders, and students to address one of India’s most persistent challenges: the gap between what students learn and what the job market demands.
The summit is being organised by Veecap Eduventures Private Limited in collaboration with IIT Guwahati. Its theme, Bridging the Gap Between Education and Employability, sets the tone for a full day of conversations on how academic institutions can better align with industry needs and prepare students for a rapidly changing world of work.

Here’s what matters. The organisers see the summit as more than a conference. They describe it as a national platform meant to connect academia, industry, and policymakers and to push institutions toward skill-based learning, digital transformation, and stronger industry partnerships.

The event will feature panel discussions with over 50 principals, heads of departments, and industry experts, along with workshops on employability and future-ready skills. Leading institutions will showcase their programmes, and dedicated networking sessions will allow educators, recruiters, and students to interact directly. Partnership announcements between academic institutions and industry players are also expected.
According to the organisers, the vision behind the summit is to build an education ecosystem that equips students with the skills, mindset, and opportunities needed for future employability and broader national growth. The mission includes promoting innovation, encouraging knowledge exchange, and strengthening collaboration between institutions and employers.
More than 100 institutions and over 500 delegates are expected to attend, including senior administrators from reputed universities, industry leaders from the corporate and edtech sectors, and government representatives involved in education policy.
