Imphal: Govindas Konthoujam, a BJP leader, has thanked the party’s central leadership for giving him charge of the Home portfolio. He said the trust placed in him is a great honour.

Guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, he said he will work with discipline and restraint. He added that his focus will be on stability, public order, and the well-being of Manipur.
