Dholai: Dholai MLA Nihar Ranjan Das on Sunday attended the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the office building of the Bam Dholai Namashudra Unnayan Parishad, a project sanctioned at a cost of Rs.10 lakh from his proposed Untied Fund.

The event marked an important step toward strengthening community infrastructure in the region.

Several dignitaries were present at the ceremony, including BJP Dholai–Narsingpur Mandal President Sanjay Kairi, Dholai–Narsingpur Block Panchayat President Nirmal Kanti Das, Parishad President Shyambabu Roy and General Secretary Manoj Kumar Roy, BJP SC Morcha Assam Pradesh Committee Executive Member Bijoy Kumar Roy, Cachar District BJP SC Morcha Secretary Sudip Biswas, representative of Jibongram Gaon Panchayat President Phulkumar Roy, BJP SC Morcha Dholai–Narsingpur Mandal President Nabendu Laskar, BJP Minority Morcha Dholai–Narsingpur Mandal President C. Hussain Laskar, land donor Debojit Roy, and educationist Dhananjay Roy, among others.

Speaking at the event, MLA Das said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive development and upliftment of all communities.
