Silchar: The Governor of Assam, Laxman Prasad Acharya, will undertake a two-day official visit to Silchar on Saturday, August 23, to review developmental initiatives and engage with institutions of public importance in Barak Valley.

According to the official programme, the Governor will chair a high-level review meeting at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Saturday at 3:35 PM.

On Sunday, August 24, he is scheduled to visit the Ramakrishna Mission at 9:35 AM, followed by an interaction at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital at 10:10 AM. The visit will conclude with his return to Guwahati later in the afternoon.
