International Sanatan Sammelan to be organised in Silchar from Nov 1-3

Imphal : After successfully organising Sanatan Sammelan 2025, Manipur with the theme Peace, Progress & Prosperity, by Knowledge Resource Centre Foundation on May 24-26th at Manipur, the Managing Trustee of KRC Foundation, Biswadeep Gupta, has declared that three-day ‘International Sanatan Sammelan’ will be held in Silchar, Assam, from November 1-3 during the review meeting held on Thursday in their Imphal office.

The review meeting of the recently concluded Sanatan Sammelan 2025, Manipur, was attended by Executive Committee members, where Khumbongmayum Gojendra Singh, the newly appointed Manipur Pranth In-charge of Shrimad Jagadguru Sharda Sarvegya Pitham, was felicitated by Biswadeep Gupta along with other members present.

L. Doredro Singh gave the welcome address and highlighted the achievements of Sanatan Sammelan 2025, Manipur, where His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Amritananda DevteerthaJi Maharaj of Shrimad Jagadguru Sharda Sarvagya Pitham Jammu & Kashmir visited various places like Marjin Polo hosted by former Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, Ema Market, INA Memorial hosted by MLA Moirang Thongam Shanti Singh, and His Holiness’ visit to one of the IDP relief camps organised by the State Government, which has touched all.

Biswadeep Gupta, who is also the In-Charge NE India of Shrimad Jagadguru Sharda Sarvegya Pitham spoke about various activities to be taken up for the spiritual upliftment of the region by the various state committees.

He also placed the statement of accounts of the Sanatan Sammelan 2025, Manipur and thanked all who contributed wholeheartedly in making the event successful. He also highlighted how and in what circumstances the Sanatan Sammelan is conceptualised and said that he is happy to have successfully conducted the event with the support of friends and associates.

Biswadeep also informed the members that KRC Foundation has decided to organise International Sanatan Sammelan in Silchar from November 1-3, where His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Amritananda DevteerthaJi Maharaj of Shrimad Jagadguru Sharda Sarvagya Pitham Jammu & Kashmir has already consented to grace the occasion, as well as various personalities from Hindu organisations will take part. 

A Vishwa Shanti Yajna will be performed on 1st November, followed by various discourses on the Sanatan system of life on the second day, and various awards to personalities from NE India will be given on the concluding day for their contribution to society.

Khumbongmayum Gojedro Singh, In-Charge Manipur Pranth, introduced new core committee members and informed that once the Manipur committee is formed, various activities will be taken up at Manipur.

Among the members who attended the meeting were Ng. Pobitra Singh, Yumnam Rajeshwor Singh,  Saikhom Ratan Kumar, Leihaothabam Sharat Chandra Sharma, Col. Sapam Shanti Kumar (Retd), Bashan Singh Waikhom and Rajkumar Devendro.

All members deliberated on various issues, giving their valued opinions. New members were welcomed to the organisation, and those who had supported the initiative during the Sanatan Sammelan held in Manipur were presented with a Memento on behalf of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Amritananda DevteerthaJi Maharaj of Shrimad Jagadguru Sharda Sarvagya Pitham, Jammu & Kashmir
