Irongmara : A talk on Vedic approaches to environmental protection was held on Tuesday at Irongmara M.E. School as part of the North East Integration Rally. Post doctoral scholar Brighu Rajkhowa led the session, speaking on Vedic perspectives on nature conservation and ecological balance.

He outlined how traditional knowledge systems view the natural world as an interconnected whole and stressed the relevance of those ideas for current ecological challenges. Students and teachers engaged with the discussion and raised questions on local conservation practices.

The event was organised by KRC Foundation, which has been conducting outreach programmes across the region to promote dialogue on culture, environment and community awareness.
