JSS Celebrates World Youth Skills Day with the Theme “Youth Empowerment through AI and Digital Skills” to Bridge the Gap Between Education and Employment

Chitrakoot: The Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) Chitrakoot, funded by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, and operated by Deendayal Research Institute, celebrated World Youth Skills Day in Mau with the theme “Youth Empowerment through AI and Digital Skills.
The Director of JSS, Anil Kumar Singh, provided detailed information about various employment-oriented training programs run by the institute and stated that the objective of World Youth Skills Day is to bridge the gap between education and employment, provide self-employment opportunities to youth, reduce unemployment, and promote economic development.

Skill development is crucial for enhancing employability in line with changing work environments and achieving livelihood goals. It emphasizes the role of skill development in promoting productivity and social inclusion.
Celebrated annually on July 15, World Youth Skills Day holds significant importance in promoting the development and empowerment of youth worldwide. The aim of digital empowerment is to enable people to actively and meaningfully participate in the digital world, thereby improving their quality of life and promoting inclusive development and social justice.
By acquiring the necessary skills and qualifications for employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods, youth can become self-reliant and self-employed.

Ashish Soni, Director of the Online Computer Center, said that it encourages governments, educational institutions, employers, and organizations to invest in training and education, which enhances the skills and capabilities of youth, enabling them to participate more effectively in the labour market.
Raghavendra Singh, District General Secretary of BJP, who presided over the program, stated that we must become self-reliant by utilizing locally available resources. The Government of India is running several schemes to provide self-employment opportunities to unemployed youth.
The aim of these schemes is to make all youth economically independent and contribute to the nation’s development, enabling us to become self-reliant and self-sufficient by availing their benefits.
The program was successfully conducted by Sughar Singh, while the vote of thanks was given by Assistant Project Coordinator Prabhakar Mishra. The event saw participation from instructors Aarti Soni, Preeti Soni, Ambrish Soni, along with 79 women and 25 men.
