Silchar: At the de-addiction and rehabilitation center run by the Twelve Step Foundation in Banglaghat, the annual community Kali Puja was held this year as well, marked by devotion and spiritual fervor. The day-long celebration included worship, floral offerings, aarti, and distribution of mahaprasad, joined by hundreds of devotees and members of the center.
Speaking on the occasion, the Foundation’s founder-secretary, Deep Bhattacharjee, said, “Goddess Kali is the embodiment of strength and devotion—she dispels the darkness of life and guides us toward light.”
Among those present were Manna Das, Sauradeep Chanda, Maharshi Das, Mainak Das, Shankar Deb, Rohit, Rajdeep Sharma, and Robin Nath.
Devotees remarked that such a spiritual atmosphere inspires positive change in society. Everyone expressed hope that the Puja will be organized on an even larger scale next year.
