Silchar: On Thursday, Assam minister Kaushik Rai participated in a meeting held at the district BJP office with the nominated candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Cachar district.

The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming nomination filing. It was informed that on Monday, March 23, all nominated candidates will submit their nomination papers, seeking the blessings and support of the people.

Among those present at the meeting were Rajdeep Roy, Rajdeep Goala, Kanad Purkayastha, Rupam Saha, Jhalak Chakraborty, and Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha, along with other party members.

The leaders urged people to extend their presence, support, and cooperation during the nomination process.
