Lakhipur: An organisational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party was held on Monday at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhavan in Lakhipur in the presence of Assam Minister and Lakhipur MLA Shri Kaushik Rai.

The meeting was attended by booth presidents, booth in-charges, and senior party workers from all mandal committees under the Lakhipur Assembly constituency. Discussions focused on a series of upcoming party programmes, including the Youth Conference, Women’s Conference, Intellectuals’ Meet, and the Booth Vijay Abhiyan.

Addressing the gathering, Rai urged party workers to discharge their responsibilities with full commitment to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of these organisational activities. He stressed the importance of coordination at the booth and mandal levels to strengthen the party’s grassroots base.

The minister also called upon party members to make the Youth Conference and Women’s Conference scheduled for Tuesday a success, noting that the events would coincide with the first visit of State BJP President Shri Dilip Saikia to Lakhipur.

Senior party leader Bijendra Prasad Singh was also present at the meeting.
