Imphal: Khumbongmayum Gojendro, Member of the Organising Committee of the North East Integration Rally (NEIR) 2026, has extended his best wishes for the upcoming event, describing it as a milestone in fostering unity across the region.
Calling NEIR 2026 “more than a rally,” Gojendro said it represents a movement that celebrates identity, culture, and shared purpose. “It’s not just a gathering, but a celebration of unity and a historic moment in the making,” he said.
Scheduled to take place between January and February 2026, the North East Integration Rally aims to strengthen bonds among the eight northeastern states through cultural exchange, sports, and community engagement — showcasing the spirit of togetherness that defines the region.
Khumbongmayum Gojendro, a noted human rights activist, also serves as the Joint Secretary of the Manipur Judo Association and President of the Manipur Pranth, Sharda Sarvagya Peetham, Jammu and Kashmir.
