MCCI will partner with KRC Foundation to promote trade, tourism, and business opportunities in Manipur through the rally
North East Integration Rally
Manipur: The Knowledge Resource Centre Foundation (KRC Foundation) and the Manipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on December 24, 2025, formalising their collaboration for the North East Integration Rally 2026.
The MoU brings together KRC Foundation, a Silchar based registered organisation, and MCCI, an autonomous trade and commerce body headquartered in Imphal, to jointly support the month long North East Integration Rally scheduled from January 4 to February 4, 2026.
Under the agreement, MCCI will partner with KRC Foundation to promote trade, tourism, and business opportunities in Manipur through the rally. The non competitive rally is designed to highlight the cultural diversity of the North East, showcase tourism potential, strengthen infrastructure awareness, and encourage youth participation across the region.

As part of the collaboration, the rally will pass through key locations in Manipur including Senapati, Imphal, Moirang, and Jiribam. Both organisations will also participate in the NE Integrated Business Summit in Kohima, being organised in association with the Investment Development Authority of Nagaland.
A major thrust of the partnership is the promotion of the “5E for Success” framework, focusing on Education, Employment, Employability, Entrepreneurship, and Emotional Intelligence. Workshops, seminars, and outreach programmes will be organised during the rally to advance these goals.
The MoU also outlines joint social responsibility initiatives, including awareness campaigns on amateur radio, disaster management, and climate change, along with targeted outreach for tourism, agro heritage, and MSME sectors.
According to the agreement, KRC Foundation will handle overall logistics, branding, documentation, media coverage, and stakeholder coordination, while extending support to MCCI for organising local campaigns.
MCCI will facilitate engagement with state and private stakeholders, organise cultural and youth oriented programmes, provide venues and hospitality, and actively participate in planning and promotion of Manipur specific rally segments. MCCI will also support the rally as a partner sponsor.
The MoU will remain in effect until February 15, 2026. Any amendments will require written consent from both parties, and termination will require a 15 day written notice stating specific reasons. The document clarifies that it reflects a mutual intention to collaborate in good faith and does not constitute a legally binding contract.
