Lakhipur: With Independence Day around the corner, the Lakhipur Sub-Division administration has called a preparatory meeting to ensure smooth conduct of the celebrations. The meeting will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in the conference hall of the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Lakhipur.

The national event will be observed with patriotic zeal across the sub-division on August 15. Tuesday’s meeting aims to finalise the programme schedule and assign responsibilities to various departments involved in the celebrations.

The SDO has urged all concerned officials to attend the meeting punctually and extend their full cooperation in planning the event.
