Silchar: Lions Club of Silchar Valley View held an awareness programme on child psychology at Daffodils School, Malugram, on Saturday. The session was led by child counsellor and mental health worker Paromita Paul, who walked the teachers and support staff through the basics of how children think, react and cope.
Here’s what mattered in the room. Paul used real situations from her field experience to explain how early behaviour patterns form, how children respond to stress, and what adults can do to read signs that often go unnoticed. Teachers engaged closely with the discussion, which stayed grounded in practical examples rather than theory.
Vice Principal Baabi Dutta coordinated the programme and helped the speaker steer the session smoothly. Representing Lions Club of Silchar Valley View, project chairperson Subir Dey, guiding member Sanjeev Roy and president Bandita Trivedi Roy were present during the event.
