Sribhumi: The third and final District Governor’s Advisory Committee Meeting (DGACM) of Zone-10 under Lions District 322G was held on Tuesday at the Lions Club of Sribhumi Service Centre. The meeting, hosted by the Lions Club of Sribhumi, was chaired by Zone Chairperson Lion Sanjeev Roy.

Joining the host club were representatives from Lions Club of Silchar Central and Lions Club of Silchar Valley View. Club secretaries Narendra Banik (Sribhumi) and Anup Roy (Valley View) presented their club reports during the session. Meanwhile, reports from Lions Club of Silchar Central and Silchar Smile were submitted online ahead of the meeting.

The proceedings began with an invocation by Sikha Dey, setting a solemn tone for the gathering. A key highlight was the keynote address by Lion Jagadish Banik, who served as the chief speaker. He shared enlightening perspectives on the core values, ethics, and ideology of Lionism, leaving the attendees inspired and motivated.

Other speakers included Lions Sumit Das, Sanchayita Deb, and Bandita Trivedi Roy, who highlighted various dimensions of service and club-level initiatives. In his address, Zone Chairperson Sanjeev Roy presented a comprehensive summary of the activities and achievements of Zone-10, along with a roadmap for the future, aimed at further strengthening the Lions movement at the grassroots.

The meeting saw active participation from several dignitaries and dedicated members of the Lions fraternity, including Biswanath Deb, Sayed Ahmed Barbhuiya, Samik Sen, Joyonto Kumar Deb, Pronoy Nath, Rima Banik, Souvik Dey, Suman Banik, Bijoy Kumar Pughulia, Satyabati Suklabaidya, Rajesh Suklabaidya, Navendu Banik, among others.

The session concluded on a high note, reaffirming the commitment of Zone-10 Lions clubs towards community service and collective progress.
