Congratulatory messages poured in from various quarters of the Barak Valley

Silchar: Manoj Kanti Das, a prominent BJP leader from Silchar, has been appointed as the Vice President of the BJP Kisan Morcha, Assam Pradesh. The appointment was made by the State President of the Kisan Morcha, Pankaj Borbora, with the approval of Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia.
Following the announcement, congratulatory messages poured in from various quarters of the Barak Valley, with many expressing satisfaction over his appointment and extending their best wishes for his new role.
In his message of gratitude, Das thanked Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, State Organizational Secretary Rabindra Raju, Kisan Morcha State President Pankaj Borbora, Ministers Kaushik Rai and Krishnendu Paul, Members of Parliament from Barak Valley Parimal Suklabaidya, Kripanath Mallah, and Rajdeep Roy Cachar District BJP President Rupam Saha, MLAs from the region, and all well-wishers for their support and encouragement.
Das began his political career as a student leader in 2007 with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), serving as President of the Radhamadhab College Unit and later as General Secretary of the Radhamadhab College Students’ Union in 2009. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as the State Secretary of ABVP’s Eesanya (North-Eastern) Province, holding several key positions at district, state, and national levels.
In 2021, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and served as the District General Secretary of the BJP Kisan Morcha. With his elevation to the state leadership, Das has pledged to focus on strengthening the party’s organizational base across Assam and called for the collective support of party workers and well-wishers in achieving that goal.
