From early morning, children and youths under 18 underwent free health screening, diagnosis, and treatment. Despite the scorching heat, people from across villages and Silchar town turned up in large numbers, availing medical checkups, medicines, and services.

DC Mridul Yadav thanked doctors, health workers, and MLA Chakraborty for ensuring the programme’s success and said it would benefit a large number of people.
